Sources
Last reviewed:
This is every outside source the calculator, costs page, FAQ and guides rely on. The list is short because few organizations publish wedding restroom figures at all, and most of those that do are rental companies. The rest are the ADA Standards and one county planning page. Where a number on this site is our own estimate rather than a published figure, the methodology page says so.
Each entry shows the date we last checked its link and figures: October 17, 2026 for sources added or rechecked in this update, October 16, 2026 for the rest. Page dates are shown as each page displays them.
Stahla Services
A restroom and shower trailer rental company. Its guides are vendor content, not independent research.
Stahla Services — Restroom Trailer Size Guide
Supports on this site: The calculator's event-type divisors (guests ÷ 100 for a ceremony, ÷ 50 for a cocktail reception, ÷ 40 for a dinner reception), the 1-stall-per-50-guests rule for a 4–6 hour event, and the +20% adjustment for alcohol or events over 6 hours. We also cite its guest-count chart as a contrast to our more conservative trailer mapping. On the costs page and FAQ: its site requirements (a level, stable surface within 150 feet of the event, 3 feet of clearance on all sides, a clear truck path, 20-amp 120V power for basic units and up to 50-amp for larger ones, a water connection or 150–200 gallon tank, and a sewage hookup or pump-out), its 1–2 day delivery and pickup window, and its ADA trailers in 2- to 10-stall sizes. On the calculator page: its suggestion to plan a wedding reception for 90–95% of confirmed guests.

What is not sourced
Three things on this site are our own planning estimates, not published figures: the 10% increase for outdoor summer weddings, the way stall counts are matched to trailer sizes (including the 2-stall minimum), and the price ranges on the costs page, which we cross-checked against the price guides above but did not take from any one of them. The guest-capacity column on the costs page is also our rough estimate.
