About Wedding Restroom Rental
Last reviewed:
Wedding Restroom Rental is a free planning resource for couples who need to rent restroom trailers for their wedding. We provide calculators, guides, and cost information to help you figure out exactly what you need before getting quotes from local providers.
Why We Built This
Planning an outdoor or venue wedding often means discovering your venue doesn't have enough restrooms — or any at all. The question "how many restroom stalls do we need?" comes up constantly, and the answer isn't always obvious.
We built this site to answer that question clearly, with a calculator based on the event-type sizing formulas Stahla Services publishes in its restroom trailer size guide, plus a few planning adjustments of our own that we explain on our methodology page.
What the Site Does
- The calculator turns your guest count, event type, length, alcohol service and season into a stall count, a trailer size and a suggested number of accessible stalls.
- The costs page gives planning price ranges by trailer size, compares them with prices rental companies publish, and lists the site, power and water needs three companies state.
- The FAQ covers booking lead times, placement, accessible units and permits, with a source under each answer that relies on one.
What It Doesn't Do
We are not a rental company. We don't rent, deliver or price trailers, and nothing here is a quote. There is no quote form, and we don't collect your contact details; the calculator runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. We don't publish reviews, ratings or "best provider" rankings. Our accessibility and permit notes describe what published rules say; they are not legal advice or a determination of what applies to your event.
How Pages Are Researched and Updated
Content is prepared by Cornelia Cove LLC with automated drafting tools and checked against primary and publisher sources: the official ADA Standards text on ADA.gov, county planning pages, and the guides and price pages rental companies publish themselves. No named expert reviews the content, and we don't present anyone as one.
Every sourced figure links to the page it came from. Figures that are our own judgment, such as the outdoor summer adjustment and the price ranges, are labeled as planning estimates. Worked examples come from running the calculator's code. We recheck figures and links at least every six months, whenever the calculator changes, and whenever a reader reports a problem. Guide, calculator and source pages show the date they were last reviewed.
Our Sources
The calculator's sizing divisors come from Stahla's published size guide and its accessibility guidance from the ADA Standards. Our price ranges are planning estimates cross-checked against published price guides. The main sources are below; the full list, with what each one supports, is on our sources page, and our editorial policy explains how content is prepared and checked.

- United Site Services — How to Get the Right Number of Portable Toilets for Your Event
- 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design — §213 Toilet Facilities
What to Confirm With a Rental Company
Our numbers are a starting point. Before you sign, get these in writing from the company you book:
- The trailer size they recommend for your headcount and why.
- The total price, including delivery, setup, pickup, mileage, taxes, deposits and any cleaning or damage fees.
- The power and water the unit needs, and what you have to supply (outlet, hose, extension cords, generator).
- Delivery and pickup dates and times, and where the trailer will sit.
- Whether an accessible unit is available, with its door width and ramp details.
- Whether an attendant or mid-event servicing is included.
Ask your venue and your county planning or environmental health office whether any permit or sanitation rule applies.
